Born in Verdun, I discovered the power of music during my teenage years, like many others. This period coincided with the emergence of Quebec groups such as Harmonium, Beau Dommage, Les Séguin, Jim et Bertrand, Garolou, and Octobre, to name just a few. Charlebois, Ferland, Piché, Lavoie, and some musicians from the aforementioned groups whose solo careers I followed (Michel Rivard, Richard Séguin, Pierre Flynn) also contributed. These artists, in a way, laid the foundations of my musical background. Around the same time, on the English-speaking side, Cat Stevens, Neil Young, Supertramp, America, and of course The Beatles would profoundly influence me. Later, from overseas, Francis Cabrel would capture my musical curiosity with his poetry. Today, all these wonderful songs are still part of my repertoire, which includes more current songs, some well-known and some less so, and sometimes even an original composition...
